Neverwinter Questing Guide

Hey Everyone!
Many have come to me with questions when they are leveling up which quest lines they should go after first. Neverwinter will set you on a linear path until you hit level 70. At that time it is relatively easy to find and finish quests. If you happen to level up too high the quest givers diamonds above their heads will disappear. Don't panic! They are still there, you just have to find them. Look for NPCs with Gold lettering for their names. White lettering you cannot interact with. That's your clue to finding them.
Open up your Campaign log by hitting the ] button. From there you'll be able to see what you've missed and how close you are to a goal. It will also show what is available for you to claim as rewards. This will come in very handy when you get up in the 60s as they will flag for you as an alert in this menu.

Above image shows an example of what your campaign log will look like. Once you get to level 60 different types of campaigns appear with boons. You definitely want to complete these as they will effect your item level.

Levels 60-70 Campaigns will take more time but with greater rewards! I will show each of these in this blog. As you can see in the above image the level 60-70 Campaigns. My main, Skyye Lakara, has most of them at 100% as you can see by the check marks. What's cool with the recent update is this menu is much easier to navigate than before. Incomplete campaigns show now as a circle with progress. Finished have check marks and if you have something to tend an alert icon will show (I don't have any alerts in this image).
Let's start with your first Campaign with Boons, Elemental Evil (EE) Campaign.

There are 4 areas with 1 boon each. It doesn't matter what order however if you start in order they will be easier for you. The Drowned Shore, Reclamation Rock, The Fiery Pit, and Spinward Rise.

As you complete each zone you'll receive a boon. At the end of Spinward Rise you will also receive an artifact weapon. This weapon will match the offhand you will receive automatically by hitting level 70. A head's up on EE quests, don't bother with the motes... you'll get a Twisted Weapon set once you get to a higher item level (formerly 2.5k before the update) which is better and you will want to use until you get relic weapons.
Maze Engine:

Once you complete this one you can repeat demonic quests every day and on the 5th day receive the final reward over and over. We like to save these boxes for double reward events. Store them up and use them later. You also unlock appearance change armor the more times you repeat the end. Also, you will receive a weekly quest to kill the boss Baphomet which will give you 4,500 AD.
Underdark:

This Campaign starts in PE in the 60s. Always check in with Knox every time you gain a level if possible. He will often put you on new quest lines. There is a knight new the Inn in PE who starts this quest who is connected also with the Maze Engine campaign. I should have posted this one first XD The two kinda work hand in hand. Underdark is needed for keys for Demogorgon and also gives 5 boons. When you finish you can make guild coffer vouchers.
Sharandar:

This is the easiest campaign to finish, truly! When complete it also give a weekly 4,500 AD quest, Arcane Reservoir. Keys for Malabog's Castle are made here as well as a level 8 enchantment and more guild vouchers. Start this campaign as soon as you reach level 70. You'll receive 5 boons.
Dread Ring:

Do this campaign along side Sharandar when you reach level 70. You will receive 5 boons and be able to make keys for Valindra's Tower and more guild vouchers. Dread Ring also gives a weekly 4,500 AD quest. It's fairly easy, just time consuming to unlock all the boons.
Icewind Dale:

Stepping it up a notch is Icewind Dale. Do not attempt this campaign without a good set of boons on your character. I rank this as a middle difficulty where Sharandar and Dread Ring would be ranked easy. It is one of the harder zones to do. It is a pretty important campaign for upgrading Dragon Flight equipment to elemental (warning! remove enchantments before upgrading you DF gear). You will earn 5 boons and keys for Kessel's Retreat Dungeon as well as more guild vouchers. It unlocks Black Ice crafting which maxes at level 5. You will also receive a 4,500 AD weekly quest to fight in Bigrins Tomb.
Tyranny of Dragons:

Tyranny of Dragons is one of the longer campaigns and is not advised to finish without earning boons in Sharandar, Dread Ring, EE, and first. It is right up there along side IWD as medium difficulty. There are 7 boons in this campaign as well as keys for eLoL, eSoT, and Tiamat. The fastest way to complete this campaign is by doing Dragon Runs in the well of dragons. This campaign actually starts in the 20s . If you keep up with your quests in the lower zones you'll be in good shape when you open up the Well of Dragons zone at level 70. Do the harper quests from PE and in the smaller zones where dragons spawn. Neverdeath, Ebon Downs, Icespire Peak, Rothe Valley, and Whispering Caverns. Don't worry about the cloaks, they are pretty junky and you don't need to keep them when earned. You will also receive a 4,500 AD weekly quest to donate 15 coffers to the wagon and kill 25 Thayans and 25 Cultists.
Storm King's Thunder:

This campaign is rated hard. Do not attempt until you have finished most of the other campaigns especially Dread Ring, Underdark, and Maze Engine. Reason being is you will get ahead of the storyline and things won't make as much sense. There are 7 boons as well as keys for FBI and SVA, extremely difficult dungeons. No weekly AD quest however there are 4 weekly quests: Bryn Shander, Lonelywood, Cold Run, and the Sea of Moving Ice which will give you lots of campaign currencies. Be sure to always have a trowel on hand and follow the other maps guide I have for this zone on treasure.
River District:

La la la I'm Skkyye Lakara, I haven't finished hardly any of River so far! LOL I'm here pleading with you, do not do this campaign until all of your other Campaigns are finished. You will be soooo confused storyline wise and it is the hardest of all of the zones and very different and confusing to follow. It is very open and hardly any linear paths are given. I cannot teach you much here as I have barely scratched the surface. I'm on Chapter 4 which seems to have an endless repeat... Swik in the alliance is a good person to ask if you're having trouble understanding this zone as well as Gary in our guild (Akta/Robin Hood). Follow my teasure map guide for more info about the treasure drops on this map.
Well, that pretty much wraps it up for Campaigns that are currently in the game. There are a couple that come around as temp once a year or so. They are fun but don't offer boons. Do them for fun if you like, they are very silly. They will be greyed out on your Campaign menu at the very bottom. If you have further questions feel free to ask in game :) I hope this has been a helpful experience for you!
